In late September 2021, I had the great fortune to be with Valentina & Scott for their destination Borgo Egnazia wedding at the Borgo Egnazia resort in the Puglia region of Italy. The wedding day started with a unique experience – a traditional pasta cooking class on-site at Borgo Egnazia. Guests had the opportunity to learn from Italian chefs, crafting pasta from scratch in the heart of Italy. It’s a memory I’m sure none of the guests will soon forget.
After the cooking class, I spent time with Valentina as she prepared for the day. Her bridal suite was buzzing with excitement, and the natural light streaming through the windows made for some beautiful shots. Scott joined us later, and we took some intimate, relaxed photos around their villa, capturing the quiet moments before the celebration began.

But, of course, the food was the real star of the evening. Guests were treated to a culinary experience like no other. From handmade pizzas and fresh mozzarella crafted in front of the guests to traditional Italian desserts, the food was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. And yes, I indulged in every bite – the handmade pasta, the pizza, the desserts, and the pièce de résistance: the wedding cake, topped with fresh pomegranates.

Valentina and Scott’s wedding day was defined by its effortless elegance. From the beautifully curated events to the joyful interactions between family and friends, everything flowed naturally. The couple’s genuine love and connection were palpable throughout the day, making it a joy to capture their special moments.
