End time has no meaning here. That’s the easiest way to describe Pooja & Kunal’s 2 day wedding feast at the Westin in Charlotte, NC. Both nights brought the hottest reception party to Charlotte as DJ Neal out of Atlanta was back again to NC and brought this group of great friends and family to the dance floor hours past the “official” end time. Not to mention the after parties which kept it going beyond that.
Backing up a bit, I first had a great time with Pooja & Kunal at Roshni & Neil’s amazing wedding last August in Raleigh (Pooja was a bridesmaid for Roshni). We had a fun mini photo shoot in the hotel before Roshni’s reception started and later last October took that energy to Old Town in Alexandria, VA just outside of DC for their engagement shoot. (This weekend Roshni was part of Pooja’s bridal party and Neil helped MC the reception with Poonam).
The two day wedding started with some individual ceremonies at Pooja’s parent’s house followed up with some things for Kunal over at the Westin. After everyone changed with did a mini photo shoot outside the hotel and jumped back in for the start of the Sangeet and Garba dancing. Saturday morning started early with getting ready in the penthouse suites and into a 1st look and Bridal Party photos at a mini park about a block away.
Back at the Westin the Baraat was super fun and led to a very nice ceremony. And cheers to Pooja and Kunal for serving everyone an amazing ice cream during the ceremony! I have to say, it was delicious and should be required and everyone’s ceremony. And yes, I did have some :) Along with several cups of the quite refreshing “melon elixir”.
Needless to say, it was really an amazing weekend. Made better by the new friends I made, but also, by the old one I know. People like Dipal, Pooja’s cool and in control, yet party hard maid of honor, or bridesmaids like Diana and Poonam, and Kunal’s brother & best man Kapil and his wife Joy, groomsmen like G man and Andew, and really, top of the list, former bride and groom Roshni and Neil, and of course to the original former bride and groom Swathi and Yuval who turned me on to this cool crowd. Yuval couldn’t make it, but I know was there in spirit. Yuval, you work too hard buddy! A classic photo here showing a lot of the people mentioned here. Followed by me getting sucked into the makeshift moshpit of dance frenzy.

Pooja’s infectious smile and laid back fun attitude and Kunal’s easy good good nature go into everything these cool cats do. From the easy going intense love they have for each other to the way they are with friends and family. There’s not much more I can say that the photos can’t. So let me get out of the way, and let’s check out some photos. Cheers to P+K :)

The Schrade Company is known for their long and rich tradition of making the finest
pocket knives. They’re also popular not only but other
products like fillet knives, sharpening products, flashlight and many more.
Their pocket knives have a classic design which also last for a lengthy time.
They’re so substantially durable you could pass it to your grandchildren. The steels
used for making the knives are stainless steel and cutlery steel.
The handles are made of staglon or delrin which are durable, unbreakable and shockproof.
This design is wicked! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!
You are my aspiration, I have few web logs and rarely
run out from post :).
