When the clouds are out, and the rain is off and on, and getting heavy at times, and you’re supposed to have a first look outside in the park; you’re going to see a lot of people checking their phones a lot of the time. When it came down to it, we decided to go for it, and hoped the rain would break for a few minutes. As luck would have it, the rain got heavier once we got to the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC.
But thanks to one determined and cool bride, one accommodating and in love groom, three awesome sisters & one mom to hold umbrellas, and finally, one very tiny, narrow and well placed awning, Nicole & Daniel were able to have a very romantic, and very memorable, first look.
