Stephen & Andrea’s wedding began for me in the mountains of NC back in 2008 – and I didn’t even know it. Andrea explained to me that back in 2008 I photographed Adam & Jessie wedding and Stephen was part of that wedding (which really was fantastic and feels like last year). They knew since then, when it was time, I would be the “ideal” wedding photographer for their own wedding. Well, it’s time. And I’m here to tell you it was worth the wait.
We packed a lot into two days with a rehearsal dinner at the NC Aquarium and the wedding & reception at the beautiful Watson House in Emerald Isle, NC. Andrea’s New York based family was welcomed to Stephen’s North Carolina based family and everyone came together, with the help of the amazing group of people at the Watson House, to put together this really awesome wedding.
It was so great meeting and seeing all the friends and families, and especially so reconnecting and being with Adam and his family, and missing Jessie who unfortunately wasn’t able to attend. Cheers to Adam’s sister Rachel, and her new husband Joe who were not only at this wedding, but were also happily married a few weeks later.
And of course, most of all, cheers to Stephen & Andrea, who humbled me by remembering me 8 years later and had me part of what really was an amazing weekend!
