Meet your Photographer

Hi, I’m Hooman, the heart behind Vesic Photography. With over 18 years of experience capturing weddings, I’ve had the privilege of documenting love stories all over North Carolina, the country and around the world.

My passion for photography started with a plastic camera when I was 8, and I’ve dedicated myself to capturing the beauty of love in all its forms.

I’m inspired by the couples I work with—their stories, their personalities, their families, and their unique connection. My goal is to capture your wedding day and your love in a way that feels true to you, with images that reflect your love and the special moments you’ll cherish forever.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me on a day trip adventure with my family, playing soccer or cooking (especially homemade authentic Neapolitan pizza! 🍕)

Before the big day, I’ll send out a questionnaire and have a conversation (if needed) to understand which family and friend photos are must-haves, as well as any special details you want documented. This helps me ensure that no important moment or person is missed, while allowing the day to unfold naturally ensuring that everyone is included, and no moments are missed. And of course, we know how important it is to make sure the moms are happy—because if mom’s not happy, nobody’s happy!

On your wedding day, my focus is on capturing the story of your love as it unfolds naturally. I’ll arrive early to capture the details and getting-ready moments, and I’ll be with you throughout the day to document every important event—from the ceremony to the reception. I genuinely arrive as a guest, ready to be fully part of your wedding so I can capture real, candid moments; making sure you can fully enjoy your day without feeling like you’re constantly posing for the camera.

The key to a stress free wedding day

One of the most important aspects of your wedding planning is creating a timeline. It should be one of the first things you do when you start wedding planning. A well-thought-out timeline is essential for a smooth, stress-free wedding planning experience and wedding day; and ensuring you have the wedding day you want while saving you money

To make this process easier, I’ve developed an app called Wedding Day Timeline, which is designed specifically to help couples create a detailed and personalized timeline for their big day. This tool ensures that every moment is accounted for, from the first look to the last dance, and includes key components such as whether or not you want to do a first look, where you’ll be getting ready, and integrating Google Maps to account for any traveling you have between locations.

While I highly recommend using Wedding Day Timeline to simplify your planning process, I want you to know that I’m here to help create a custom timeline that reflects your unique celebration, whether you use this tool or not.

Whether you’re planning a traditional ceremony, a beachside elopement, or a city-chic reception, we’ll ensure your photography schedule fits perfectly into your day. I’m here to offer advice and guidance on timing, lighting, and logistics, so you can relax and savor every moment, knowing that everything is taken care of.

What To Expect

After your wedding, we’ll carefully curate and edit your photos to ensure they look their absolute best. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, share, and download all your images. The gallery will be a mix of color and black-and-white photos, all in maximum resolution and ready to print.

Photo Rights and Usage:

Your photos are yours to enjoy however you like. You, along with your friends and family, can download all the images for free, save them to your computer, and share them on social media. You can also make prints directly from the gallery or take the files to your favorite print shop. If you’re looking for something extra special, we offer beautiful, custom-designed albums that you can purchase through us, or you can create your own.

There’s nothing quite like holding your wedding photos in your hands. We offer a range of album options, from classic leather-bound albums to modern lay-flat books. These albums are handcrafted and designed to tell the story of your day in a way that’s both beautiful and timeless. We also offer high-quality prints that you can order directly from your gallery. Whether you’re creating a gallery wall or gifting prints to loved ones, we’ve got you covered.

Work with us to create a timeline that allows plenty of time for photos, especially during key moments like the first look, family portraits, and couple’s portraits.

Weddings can be unpredictable, and it’s easy to fall behind schedule. To avoid rushing through important moments, we recommend building some buffer time into your timeline. This ensures that we have plenty of time to capture all the key moments without feeling rushed.

Not Prioritizing Lighting

Lighting plays a crucial role in photography, so it’s important to consider the timing of your ceremony and portraits. If possible, plan your couple’s portraits during the “golden hour” (the hour before sunset) when the light is soft and flattering. We’ll work with you to adjust the timeline as needed to make the most of the natural light.

If there are specific people, moments, or details that are especially important to you, make sure to communicate them to us ahead of time. We’ll include them in our shot list and make sure they’re captured. The more we know about what matters to you, the better we can tailor our approach to fit your vision.
