Marla & Nicole: Chicago Wedding Photography at River Roast Social Club

One year before the wedding, I went up to Chicago and spend time with Marla & Nicole for their engagement shoot. It was such a good experience, and they’re such a great couple, it left me waiting all year for their wedding. And then their wedding came, it was awesome. It was a wedding about two women, about their moms. It was a wedding about dads and brothers; and camp and friends. It was about one of the most beautiful first looks. It was about the Jewish faith, and about the Jewish party. And it was about Chicago. It was about the Cubs winning it all, on the same weekend you get married. It about having the ultimate last song, the ultimate sing along. And one which I couldn’t get out of my head all week as I edited their wedding. “Hey Chicago what do you say, the Cubs are going to win today!”
