You just can’t go wrong with a wedding at the NC coast, and with a couple like Russ & Michelle, and friends like they have – it makes it just right! It was just that perfect day, the end of May, not too hot, big puffy white clouds, everyone laid back in linen shirts and flip flops for beach wedding with the Embers, James Taylor, and the like sending out the tunes you need to shag to.
The OC has such an awesome location for a ceremony (and reception) – those tall palm trees just line the isle sooo nicely, and you’ve got the overhang and the pool behind it – its just really nice. And we did some awesome one on one shots on the intercoastal waterway side, which was great. Russ & Michelle were so fun to work with, so laid back, and look so good , it was just easy! We spent about 30 minutes doing the photos, and thanks to the staff at the OC who drove us around in the golf carts.
The rehearsal dinner was at the Coral Bay Club and the ceremony & reception at the Ocean Club. Rachel Munro of Bridal by the Sea set it all up and everything looked awesome and went super smooth as always. Check out some of the samples – and more blogs from earlier in the year are coming :)
